Evan Lang

Evan joined Lang, Lang & Co. in 2008 with the goal and responsibility of growing their Retirement Plan and Pension business.

Evan is previously experienced in Commercial Finance and specifically in Operational Management. In 1998, Evan Lang Co-Founded Nationwide Funding and served as President and Managing Member prior to selling Nationwide Funding in July of 2008.

Evan holds a BA in English Literature from UCLA with a minor in both Economics and Communications.

Evan is married to Donna. They have been married since 1996 and live in Tustin with their Son Kieran and 3 Daughters, Kaiya, Hannah, and Skyla. Evan has an interest in gourmet cooking, reading, competing in triathlons, and spending time with Family.

Stephan Lang

Steph Lang moved to Orange County at age 11 in 1961. He graduated from UCLA in 1972 having majored in economics and accounting. After passing the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam that same year he went to work in the accounting firm started by his father, Hal Lang.

In 1974 Steph realized that many of their clients needed specialized pension plans that allowed them to plan for their future retirement and the future retirement of their employees. He started studying the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and became an expert in writing and administering pension plans specific to the needs of their clients and their client’s businesses.

Steph lives in North Tustin with his wife of 37 years, Robin. They raised 4 sons there and now spend their free time playing with their grandchildren, enjoying their adult sons and their wives, golfing, gardening and traveling.

Hal Lang

Hal Lang was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and raised in Los Angeles. Hal volunteered for the Army and at 19 was in charge of returning WWII prisoners-of-war from the United States to Europe. While in the Service, he both played on and coached the football team for his unit.

Hal began his accounting career after graduating from UCLA at Budget Finance Company and in a short time became their controller. After 10 years at Budget, Hal started his own public accounting firm. Having passed his CPA exam Hal decided to start his own Certified Public Accounting Firm and eventually moved to Orange County and became a partner in Dorsey, Leonard, and Lang, CPAs.

Hal specializes in taxes, accounting and financial statistics for Lang, Lang and Company's clients.

Hal currently lives in North Tustin with His wife of 60 years, Corky. Both of their sons and one of their grandsons are working with him in the CPA firm he started. Corky and Hal enjoy spending time with their family, supporting Foothill High School Football and Baseball and doing the stats for both teams.

Rick Lang

Rick moved to Orange County with his family at the age of 9. Rick graduated from Cal Lutheran in 1973. He joined Lang, Lang, and Company in 1978 and passed his CPA exam in 1980.

Rick specializes in taxes and accounting. In 1999 he realized that many of their clients needed estate planning. This led him to pursue a special certificate in estate planning offered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is one of few CPAs with this certification.

Rick is married to Ellen. They have been married for 24 years and live in Portola Hills with their 2 daughters. Rick has an interest in cartoon art and computers. He is the Lang, Lang and Company resident computer expert.

Corky Lang

Corky was born in Los Angeles and was raised both in LA and Lake Arrowhead. She was a champion snow and water skier while in Lake Arrowhead. Corky met and married Hal in 1949. They raised two sons, both of whom work at Lang, Lang and Company.

Corky administrates the office and keeps everything running smoothly. In her spare time she spends time with her family and helps keep stats for Foothill High School Football and Baseball teams.
